Finally took the plunge yesterday, and went PRO with FLICKR.
This means that for around £12 a year, I can have unlimited sets, photos, storage, uploads and use of a very nice interface for organising photos into sets or collections, which I did in less than 10 minutes.
Plenty of images will be added over the next few months.

Also looked at my GeoVisitors map and found a very remote visitor: someone on the borders of Nunavut and Manitoba apparently visited yesterday. If it was you, get in touch !

Picture: David Rayner CfBT Conference for Geography for new KS3 Curriculum Thanks to the 70+ Heads of Geography and other colleagues in various capacities who attended the CfBT Eastern Region Conference at the Holiday Inn in Norwich yesterday. It was hard work (especially as I followed it up with 2 hours plus at a parents evening...) but enjoyable, and good to talk to people and get their ideas for how they were going to be "creatively subversive...." Stairway to Devon Finally found a spare hour while watching PANORAMA TRUE BRITS, to write-up the geo-highlights of the holiday week. Spent a week in Dartmouth in late August in a house overlooking the harbour and the lower ferry. We had good weather most of the time, despite a string of depressions. Some highlights: Overnight stay at the Oatlands Chaser in Weybridge – recommended. There was a lot of traffic, as expected, heading to the SW, and ended diverting over the Newbury bypass and past Stonehenge in a queue. It was a wet day, and splashed our way through Totnes, and made it to our house above Bayard’s Cove overlooking the RIA that makes up the lower stretches of the River Dart.
