Teaching students about EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS in KS 3, 4 or 5 ? There's an event planned for the 23rd of October in Sheffield which you might find useful. It's being organised by the Prince's Teaching Institute , in association with the Geographical Association and the Fuchs Foundation. It includes a keynote by Professor David Lambert. There are still a few places left on an Africa day , which is going to take place at the Royal Geographical Society on Friday the 6th of March. The day will be led by Graham Goldup, and focus on updating teachers' subject knowledge, and promote collaboration between schools and teachers that have an interest in the continent.
