Not the best start to my day: an early morning appointment at the dentist to mend a broken tooth, or an "amalgam restoration".
Good news is that the rest are fine. Hurrah...
Hands up all those who wince when they look at that picture (my hand is raised....)
Any geographical potential in dentistry ?

I hate it, went last week, each time I go, something new. Last week a scale and polish... not bad, but the root canal... I'd rather have it pulled out.

Think there's plenty of geography... find a NHS dentist would be an interesting study... how far would you have to travel....

Got away lightly I think: one big filling after 3 years... Scale and polish in a couple of weeks.
Anyway, must go, I have a big bag of toffees to eat... ;)

Picture: David Rayner CfBT Conference for Geography for new KS3 Curriculum Thanks to the 70+ Heads of Geography and other colleagues in various capacities who attended the CfBT Eastern Region Conference at the Holiday Inn in Norwich yesterday. It was hard work (especially as I followed it up with 2 hours plus at a parents evening...) but enjoyable, and good to talk to people and get their ideas for how they were going to be "creatively subversive...."
